The Delta News Hub confirms this is a LIMITED-EDITION layout: seven of Delta's newest A321neos entered service from May 2026 with First doubled to 44 seats and 54 Delta Comfort seats, as an interim arrangement while Delta awaits delivery of lie-flat First suites for these aircraft (hence status retrofit_source + successorPlanned).
