Current official 272-seat 787-9 V4 map: every seat identifier, Luxe/Business/Premium/Economy placement, Stretch and Skycouch blocks, exit row, bassinets, dimensions, screens and power.
Top-down/interactive schematic proves the row grid but not real window-to-seat alignment.

Configuration-specific published cabin counts, numbered positions, and explicitly stated seat-level products, measurements and amenities.
Only explicit numbered DOM entries establish every printed row/letter. Static maps use repeated column labels and numbered drawn positions; they do not print every seat letter. Window alignment, manufacturer hardware and exact operating-tail assignments are not established by these diagrams. Numerical pitch applies only where the assigned seat popover publishes it. Explicit no recline is modeled as none; limited recline has no asserted numerical value. Configuration 272 AC and wireless claims are cabin-bound.

2026 annual results slides 8 and38: nine of fourteen existing 787 retrofits complete; remaining planned by November 2026; dated 30 June 2026 separate brand subfleet counts. Slide 7 documents changing short-term lease fleet.
Counts are dated, not a live 1 October 2026 tail census. 9/14 is programme completion at presentation time; no exact current old 275/302 split or retired 777 tail is specified.

This is the only retrofit LOPA for Air New Zealand’s 14 existing 787-9s: the official programme notice says every aircraft is reconfigured to 272 seats, comprising 4 Business Premier Luxe + 22 Business Premier + 33 Premium Economy + 213 Economy. The V4 map is transcribed seat-for-seat. Thirty Economy Stretch seats in rows 34-36 and 37ABC resolve to N; the remaining 183 seats resolve to Y. Air New Zealand describes 13 Economy Skycouch blocks (three-seat blocks, not 13 seats), matching the 39 annotated seats here. Skycouch remains a note/zone on ordinary Economy seats. The current subfleet count is not published, so none is asserted. The airline’s July 2026 update confirms the existing 14-aircraft retrofit is still underway, while the two new-delivery 787-9s (whose exact V3/V5 configuration binding is not established by the staged source) are due only by year-end. Skynest is therefore not modeled in this currently flying retrofit. No 787 window grid is bound; all window-position alignments remain unknown. AUDIT 2026-10-01: The 2026 annual results presentation reports 9/14 existing 787 retrofits complete and plans the balance by November 2026. This is a dated programme count, not an exact current configuration census. retrofit_target denotes the flying replacement cabin during the ongoing transition, not an unflown planned variant. Individual completed/remaining airframe bindings remain unspecified. Skynest is not shown on the bound flying V4 retrofit map; no exact future V5 allocation is certified here. AUDIT 2026-10-01: Current configuration-specific numbered map and explicit seat disclosures reviewed. Complete current tail, window and monument audit remains partial; see docs/audit-australia-new-zealand-2026-10-01/NZ.json. Historical full verification date retained. AUDIT 2026-10-01: Independent guarded review: removed numerical pitch inheritance at source-blank positions; explicit no/limited recline now selects source-specific seat types. Universal power limited to USB-A/USB-C; AC and wireless restricted to source-published cabins. All row/letter positions and source-bound flags preserved.
Qué cambió
- 3 oct 2026Removed unsupported relative price ranks from Business Premier Luxe, Economy Stretch, Economy Skycouch zones. Published product names, rows, explicit paid or conversion disclosures, seat positions, ratings, dimensions, counts, dates and all earlier history preserved. No free selection is inferred.
- 3 oct 2026After actual exact-file review, corrected source-specific seat disclosures, assigned-type claims and schematic source anchors where supported; retained every numbered seat position, published exit restrictions, verification dates and earlier history. Exit Row alone no longer implies extra legroom or a positive rating in the scoped unproven configurations.
- 3 oct 2026Applied independently scoped source corrections: added 7 explicit native-map monuments as derived schematic anchors; no measured distance, exact bassinet host seat or whole-row restriction inferred. Preserved historical verification date and prior changelog. Root source-versus-render inspection and final actual model review remain required.
- 1 oct 2026Independent guarded review: removed numerical pitch inheritance at source-blank positions; explicit no/limited recline now selects source-specific seat types. Universal power limited to USB-A/USB-C; AC and wireless restricted to source-published cabins. All row/letter positions and source-bound flags preserved.
- 1 oct 2026Australia/New Zealand primary audit: rechecked current official map; Removed unsourced regulatory exitType classifications; door positions retained as diagram anchors. Widened published table pitch ranges to 41–42 in Premium Economy and 31–33 in Economy; kept retrofit_target transition semantics. Complete configuration verification remains partial.
