FlySafair's live booking engine returns configuration 738PB on all 17 JNB-CPT flights offered for 2026-07-25; every map has the same complete 189-seat grid, PREM/PREF/PREB charge zones, row-level exit and wing indicators, and per-seat exit attributes.
This read-only sample covers one route and date and does not expose aircraft registrations, so it cannot prove that no configuration exists outside the sample. Inventory availability, prices, occupied-seat passenger identifiers, and transient bookability are not modeled.

FlySafair's current availability response identifies sampled flight FA200 on 2026-07-25 as equipment type 738; that flight id was used for the cited live seat-map request.
A single future flight is sampled only to bind the returned booking map to aircraft type 738; fleet-wide status comes from the current company profile.

FlySafair's official Pre-Selected Seating page defines paid Regular, Front of Aircraft, and Extra Leg-Room seat categories and describes Extra Leg-Room seats as emergency-exit seats.

FlySafair's Help Centre article states 189 seats for the 737-800 and 165 seats for the airline's historical 737-400 fleet.
The article was created in 2015, last edited in 2019, and updated in 2022. It corroborates type capacity and historical 737-400 use but is not evidence that any 737-400 remains active in 2026.

The fleet matrix indexed as updated 1 July 2026 lists 34 active and three parked FlySafair 737-800s, while all four listed 737-400s are parked.
Search-result snippet only because the page returned HTTP 403 to raw retrieval; per repository policy, no local snapshot is created for an unfetchable snippet. Used only to corroborate current fleet status, not layout.

PUBLISHED MAP: FlySafair's live booking engine returned configuration 738PB on all 17 JNB-CPT flights offered for 2026-07-25; every returned map contains the same 189 sellable Economy seats: 1A/B/C, full A-F rows 2-12 and 14-33, with row 13 omitted. Each response publishes 15 PREM seats (row 1 and rows 16-17), 78 PREF seats (rows 2-12 and 14-15), and 96 PREB seats (rows 18-33). FlySafair's official seating page identifies these as Extra Leg-Room, Front of Aircraft, and Regular paid-selection categories; only Extra Leg-Room is a distinct canonical N tier. EXIT/WING: the API marks rows 1, 2, 16 and 17 as exit rows, limits row 2's per-seat exit attribute to D/E/F, and marks rows 14-21 over the wing. Door objects translate those published exit markers into schema furniture; their exact visual placement is marked derived. LIMITS: no pitch, width, recline, hardware model, power, entertainment, lavatory, galley, aft-door, or adjacency claim is made. Live availability/occupancy and anonymous passenger identifiers are ignored. The exact 737-800 engineering window grid is bound, but window positions remain unknown except any high-confidence structural blank written by the repository classifier. FLEET SCOPE: FlySafair's February 2026 company profile describes its operating fleet solely as 37 Boeing 737-800s. Its older Help Centre article states 189 seats for the 737-800 and 165 for the historical 737-400, but is not used as current-fleet evidence.
