    Official Korean Air A321neo (182-seat) cabin seat map: Prestige 2-2 at rows 7-8 (A/B | D/E = 8); Economy 3-3 at rows 28-56 (A/B/C | D/E/F = 174); two over-wing exits at rows 38-39; forward entry doors + lavatory + galley, a closet between cabins, and aft lavatories + accessible lavatory + galleys + doors; forward Economy (28-31) and exit row 39 color-coded as a distinct preferred/extra-legroom category; wheelchair-accessible seats at 28C/29B/29C/31B/31C.

Native preserved diagram has no recovered readable category legend. Historical claim text describing preferred/extra-legroom categories is preserved as history; those category meanings are unresolved and no category flags or benefit ratings were adopted.

A321neo newsroom press release (2022-11-30): 182 seats = 8 Prestige + 174 Economy; first 180-degree fully lie-flat business seat in Korean Air's narrowbody fleet; Prestige 44 cm personal monitor + wireless smartphone charger; Economy 33 cm personal monitor (largest in the narrowbody fleet), adjustable headrest, individual coat hook, backrest reclining up to 121 degrees.

koreanair.com returns HTTP 403 to non-browser clients and the only Wayback capture of this newsroom URL is itself a 403 page, so live HTML could not be archived; the snapshot is a rendered-text extract of the verbatim material facts, cross-confirmed against inflight-online.com and airlinegeeks.com republications of the same release.

Korean Air fleet table: Airbus A321neo — 20 in service, 36 on order; passenger configuration 8 Prestige (Prestige Sleeper) / 174 Economy = 182. Prose: the A321neo business screens support Bluetooth (Wikipedia gives them as '24-inch 4K', which conflicts with Korean Air's own 44 cm / 17.3 in figure; the primary figure is used).

Cómo se construyó este mapa

Exact 182-seat grid remains the released approved inventory: Prestige rows 7–8 ABDE (8), Economy rows 28–56 ABCDEF (174). Methodology review adds only native-supported schematic flags and limited editorial ratings: 7D/E galley adjacency, 28A/B/C bassinet proximity, and 56A–F lavatory adjacency. Possible disturbance is an editorial inference, not measured noise or traffic. Standard seats have no substantiated exception within the reviewed evidence, with exit-policy gaps stated individually on rows 38/39. Published drawing-order EXIT anchors before rows 38/39 are schematic, non-exhaustive and not engineered geometry. Hardware/model identity, wing/window engineering, A321 pitch/width, Prestige screen size, marker legend and exit-seat eligibility/recline/floor-storage remain unverified. Current official product text supports lie-flat Prestige with wireless charging, USB-C/Bluetooth, and Economy 13.3-inch personal screens, adjustable headrest and shared USB-C (two ports per three seats). No config-level seatback IFE form factor is asserted for Prestige; the proposed global IFE block was removed. A321 current directory existence does not prove per-tail deployment. Interior seats use no_window_seat from their bank position; outboard alignment remains unknown. Historical sources, source hashes and changelog are retained. Ratings and schematic furniture changed; exact seat grid, IDs and total count did not.

Qué cambió

  1. 4 oct 2026M-KE-01 remediation: added per-seat exit-policy limits to all row38/39 reasons; appended historical PNG legend caveat without changing source claim/hash. Disclosed methodology change of interior seat alignment from unknown to no_window_seat (Prestige B/D and Economy B/C/D/E). Removed the newly proposed config-level amenities.ife block because the Prestige personal-monitor source does not establish seatback form factor; Economy monitor size remains in its seat type. Reconciled notes with assessed adjacency flags, schematic non-exhaustive exit anchors and unchanged seat inventory.
  2. 4 oct 2026Independently rechecked native paired EXIT glyphs and added schematic exit_door anchors before row 38, row 39 on both sides. Published drawing order only; no door grade, engineered station or clearance inferred. Resolves exit-row semantic warnings without changing validator or seat assessment.
  3. 4 oct 2026Methodology reassessment of native numbered diagram and official product evidence: replaced neutral placeholders with limited standard assessments and documented adjacency-based be_aware judgments; restored only source-supported product details and map seat categories, preserved drawback cap, and kept unresolved legend, exit-policy, hardware and window alignment claims unverified. No layout/count changes.
  4. 4 oct 2026Corrected Prestige aisle break from after A to after B (B|D). Removed fleetCount/fleetCountAsOf, aircraft.windowGridType, wing geometry, furniture, zones and unsupported seat flags. Changed Economy monitor from 13 to the current official 13.3 inches; removed the historical 121-degree recline and unsupported Prestige monitor size. Added current official Prestige and Economy text sources supporting wireless charging, USB-C and Bluetooth; Economy USB-C is shared at two ports per three seats. Removed only dangling source fieldRefs to config.fleetCount and decks.0.furniture, retaining historical sources. Applied explicit neutral ratings and current deployment limits.
  5. 14 jul 2026Initial Korean Air A321neo config (182 seats: 8 Prestige lie-flat / 174 Economy) from Korean Air's published A321neo seat-map PNG (layoutProvenance published_map) + Korean Air A321neo newsroom press release (product specs) + neutral Wikipedia fleet data.
