Avianca's official fleet page publishes the Airbus A319 at up to 144 passengers.

The archived 2025 fleet page establishes the total but not the cabin split or row map.

Current official product page identifies the B787 and A320-A319 seat families and their location, recline, headrest, entertainment-screen/streaming, and USB-A/USB-C features; it places single-aisle Business Class in rows 1-3.

The page is a product guide, not a seat map. It warns that some aircraft do not yet have final seats and features may vary.

Avianca says some A319s remain, more A320neo and A320ceo aircraft entered, the 787 fleet grew, and its entire A321 group left the operation.

This is a fleet-strategy article, not a per-tail fleet list or cabin map.

The archived neutral fleet table labels the narrowbody front tier W (Premium), not C (Business): A319 has 12 W, 48 Y+ and 84 Y seats; a shared A320-200/A320neo table split lists 12 W, 60 Y+ and 108 Y seats. The 787 splits are 20 C, 36 Y+ and 235 Y, or 32 C and 259 Y for former-Norwegian aircraft. Narrowbody Business Class Americas identity comes from the official airline seat page, not this neutral table.

The fleet section displays a more-citations-needed warning. Primary Avianca sources independently establish the seat totals and current fleet families; this source is used for the per-cabin splits, not row positions.

Cómo se construyó este mapa

CURRENT CONFIG: Avianca's January 2026 update says nearly two thirds of its A319 aircraft left, which establishes that a residual fleet remains. The official fleet page publishes capacity up to 144 and the archived neutral fleet table gives 12 W (Premium), 48 Y+ and 84 Y seats; the official seat page establishes Business Class Americas identity. DERIVED GRID: the current A320-A319 seat page fixes Business Class Americas in rows 1-3; the 12-seat count requires 2-2 across those rows. The remaining 132 positions are represented as 22 full 3-3 rows, with eight forward rows assigned to the sourced 48-seat Plus count and fourteen rear rows to the sourced 84-seat Economy count. The exact Plus boundary, exits, wing, and monuments are not published and are intentionally not asserted. All cabins are derived:true. No variant-exact A319 engineering window grid exists in data/window-grids, so aircraft.windowGridType is intentionally omitted and all window positions remain unknown. All rows fit the existing a319 registry bounds. 2026-10-01 audit: official main-site fleet/product/news retrievals were HTTP403; issuer page confirms group passenger Airbus-family/B787 fleet, without type-specific installed cabins or legal-operator assignment. Prior source totals/product claims remain dated historical evidence, not fresh complete verification. No current numbered topology has been established. Colombia/Ecuador versus Central American operator binding, former-Norwegian 787 cabin split, transitional A320neo products and temporary Wamos wetlease cabins require separate authoritative maps. Existing derived topology is retained as baseline only; the 787 one-seat count-reconciliation stub is not a verified physical seat location. PRODUCT LIMIT: the archived July 17, 2026 seat-page observation explicitly says some aircraft do not yet have final seats and their features may vary. Advertised hardware, recline, charging and entertainment are dated generic product evidence, not verified installations on this derived configuration or a specific tail.

Qué cambió

  1. 3 oct 2026Removed the unsupported relative fee rank from the named seat-selection product. Primary product and payment rules do not establish comparative seat prices. Preserved product identity, paid-seat flags, all passenger seats, dimensions, positions, sources, verification dates and previous history.
  2. 3 oct 2026Corrected the derived front-cabin column separator to one central aisle in the stated 2-2 single-aisle layout, preserving all passenger seats and conventional letters. Corrected the neutral fleet table attribution from Business to W/Premium; official airline evidence continues to support Business Class Americas identity.
  3. 3 oct 2026Corrected evidence-supported text, metadata and historical identifiers after independent source review; preserved derived geometry, unresolved current-tail/product claims, verification dates and historical changelog.
  4. 1 oct 2026South America evidence audit: retain baseline topology and prior lastVerifiedAt; append current bounded primary checks and unresolved operator/layout/status limits.
  5. 17 jul 2026Initial Avianca A319 144-seat configuration from permitted primary and neutral sources; row grid derived from counts.
