How this map was built

Japan Airlines Boeing 787-8, DOMESTIC configuration E21 (291 seats: 6 First + 58 Class J + 227 Economy). Per-cabin counts, class row ranges, and the exit/lavatory/no-recline/no-window seat lists are published on JAL's official 787-8 aircraft page (Domestic aircraft section); abreast layouts (First 2-2-2, Class J 2-3-2, Economy 3-3-3 nine-abreast) are read from JAL's published E21 seat-map diagram. Corroborated by Wikipedia's JAL fleet table (6F/58J/227Y=291). NOTE this 291-seat high-density domestic layout exceeds the prior 787-8 registry bounds (which were tuned to international 787-8s); registry maxSeats/maxRow were raised (see report) on this dual-sourced evidence. Class J is JAL's domestic premium recliner (about 97 cm / 38 in pitch, 11.6-inch screens) and is mapped to canonicalTier 'business' as the middle of the three domestic cabins (judgment call; the hardware is a premium recliner, not a lie-flat). DERIVED (layoutProvenance mixed): exact row NUMBERS between the published anchor rows and two reconciling taper rows are constructed to reproduce the published totals. First = row 1 (2-2-2 = 6). Class J = rows 5-9 (5x7=35) + a reduced row 15 (2 seats at Door 2 / accessible lavatory) + rows 16-18 (3x7=21) = 58. Economy = front rows 27-40 (14x9=126) + rear rows 45-55 (11x9=99) + a reduced last row 56 (2 seats by the rear lavatories) = 227. Published special seats honoured: Class J 9A/9K no-recline no-window; Door 3 exit row 45 with 45A/45K no-recline no-window. Pitch/width mostly unsourced (Class J ~38 in / 97 cm published); no 787 window grid so windowGridType omitted and window seats are windowAlignment 'unknown' except published no-window seats.
