It prints seat-selection legend categories and registrations VH-ZNA through VH-ZNN; its legend does not print cabin seat totals. The numbered seat glyphs support the represented layout. Cabin totals 42 Business, 28 Premium Economy and 166 Economy are stated by the current 787 page and the retained earlier capacity map. This is published diagram evidence, not a live tail-installation census.

Qantas Boeing 787-9 public cabin: 42 Business, 28 Premium Economy and 166 Economy (236 total). The captured map lists VH-ZNA through VH-ZNN; the FY2026 annual report lists 14 aircraft at June 30, 2026. These dated sources do not establish each tail's current installation or assignment to a flight. Business is staggered 1-2-1 with columns A/E,F/K: row 1 has A/K only; rows 2–8 and 10–12 are full four-seat rows. Premium Economy is 2-3-2 with A,B/D,E,F/J,K at rows 20–23. Economy centre D/E/F positions are rows 40–43 and 46–59. Side positions A/B/C and H/J/K are rows 40–44 and 46–58; side row 59 has A/B and J/K, alongside centre 59D/E/F. The native map draws centre toilets at the side-row44 station, after centre row43, and white stowage behind centre row59 before the rear galley. These are direct seat-glyph and printed row-axis readings, not a capacity-derived replacement grid. The map marks 40D/E/F Extra Legroom Front and 46A/B/C/H/J/K Extra Legroom Exit (9 N, 157 Y). Other selection colours do not establish different physical seats or fees payable by every traveller. Rows 40 and 46 contain multiple colour bands: 40A/C/H/K Forward (1) Front, 40B/J bassinet, 40D/E/F Extra Legroom Front; 46A/B/C/H/J/K Extra Legroom Exit, 46D/F Forward Zone 2 and 46E bassinet. Forward Zone 3 is rows 47–48; rows 49–59 are standard grey in the high-resolution native map. Native bassinet markers are ahead of Business rows 1 and 10 in the centre, Premium Economy row 20 side blocks A/B and J/K, Economy row 40 B/J and row 46 E. Door 3 centre monuments are toilets, including an accessible toilet, with side crew-seat symbols and no galley shown there. Furniture anchors are schematic, without engineering dimensions. The current official page publishes Premium Economy screen size 13 in, Business seat width 23–24 in and bed width 24–25 in. The July 2026 Premium Economy source did not state a screen diagonal. Current generic USB charging does not identify connector type. Wi-Fi is published over Australia/New Zealand and selected international routes; the FY2026 report describes rollout across the 787-9 fleet, without certifying universal route availability. Window alignment remains unknown and the retained wing range is an unsourced approximation. Inherited seat-proximity, storage and recline restrictions are not fully source-certified. Hardware identities, exact furniture geometry, engineering installed capacity and current tail allocation remain unresolved. The exact 2017-10-01 effective date was withdrawn as unsupported.
