How this map was built

United's new "Elevated" Boeing 787-9 interior (unveiled 13 May 2025). Five sub-products: 8 Polaris Studio suites (first row of each of the two business sections), 56 standard next-gen Polaris (both with sliding privacy doors and direct aisle access), 35 Premium Plus, 33 Economy Plus and 90 Economy = 222 seats (99 premium + 123 economy), all confirmed by the United newsroom release and the Wikipedia fleet table. Screen sizes are sourced from the release (Polaris Studio 27-in, Polaris 19-in, Premium Plus 16-in, Economy Plus / Economy 13-in — all 4K OLED) and Starlink Wi-Fi (free for MileagePlus members) is a headline feature. IMPORTANT — the ROW GRID IS DERIVED, not a placard scan: united.com is bot-blocked and competitor seat-map sites are prohibited. Derivations: Polaris business rows 1-16 in 1-2-1 (64), split into a forward section (rows 1-8) and rear section (rows 9-16) by a mid-cabin galley, with the four Studio suites in the first row of each section (rows 1 and 9); Premium Plus rows 18-22 (5x7=35); Economy Plus rows 23-26 (rows 23-25 = 27 full, row 26 reduced to six seats by a side galley to reach 33); Economy rows 27-36 (10x9=90). Row numbers, section split, exit row (Door 3, row 31), over-wing band and furniture are inferred and may differ from the actual airframe. Pitch/width are not published by United and are flagged unsourced; the Polaris Studio is described only as "25% larger" than standard Polaris.
