  • Royal Air MarocPRIMARY SOURCERetrieved Jul 17, 2026

Current official fleet page lists Boeing 787-9 capacity as 302 / 320 seats and Boeing 787-8 capacity as 274 seats.

The page lists five 787-8s while the current English Wikipedia revision lists six; it is used for currently advertised capacities, not a per-configuration 787-8 fleet count.

  • WikipediaINDEPENDENT SOURCERetrieved Jul 17, 2026

    Neutral fleet table lists 787-8 at 18 Business / 256 Economy / 274 total, four 787-9s at 26 / 276 / 302, and two 787-9s at 16 / 304 / 320.

Neutral fleet-table corroboration; Royal Air Maroc primary sources control advertised capacities and the permitted airline maps control row geometry.

  • WikipediaINDEPENDENT SOURCERetrieved Jul 17, 2026

Neutral Chinese-language fleet table lists two 16 Business / 304 Economy / 320-seat 787-9s and explicitly says CN-RHA and CN-RHB use the former WestJet seating layout.

Chinese claim translated as: 'CN-RHA and CN-RHB use the former WestJet seating layout.' Used to connect the current RAM airframes to WestJet's primary map; RAM's own fleet page independently confirms the 320-seat capacity.

  • WestJetPRIMARY SOURCERetrieved Jul 17, 2026

Official 320-seat 787-9 specification: exact seat locations and counts for 16 Business, 28 Premium and 276 Economy; pitch, width and recline; lavatory and bassinet locations.

Prior-operator source applied only because the neutral RAM fleet table explicitly identifies CN-RHA/CN-RHB as retaining this layout. The text says rows 27-40 are full, conflicting with the explicit 276/320 counts and the diagram's centre-only row 40; the numeric counts and drawing control.

Official 787-9 diagram showing the exact row/column grid, cabin blocks, partial rows, exits, lavatories, bassinets and wing outline inherited by CN-RHA/CN-RHB.

Schematic does not draw physical windows and is a prior-operator map; current applicability comes from the cited neutral RAM fleet table.

How this map was built

CURRENT HIGH-DENSITY CONFIGURATION: Royal Air Maroc's live fleet page advertises both 302- and 320-seat 787-9 capacities. The current neutral fleet table lists four aircraft at 26 Business / 276 Economy = 302 and two at 16 Business / 304 Economy = 320; the Chinese-language neutral table explicitly identifies CN-RHA and CN-RHB as using their former WestJet seating layout. RAM publishes only Business and Economy fare families, so the inherited 28-seat former Premium cabin is modeled as a physically separate Economy cabin with legacy Premium recliner hardware and contributes to Y: 16J + (28+276)Y = 16J/304Y. PUBLISHED INHERITED GRID: WestJet's official 787-9 map/table supplies Business rows 1-4 (16), former Premium rows 5-8 (28), and Economy rows 9-40 (276), plus exact dimensions, lavatories, bassinets and exits. PRIMARY CONFLICT: WestJet's text says rows 27-40 are all nine-abreast, but its drawing shows row 40 as centre-only; a full row 40 would produce 326 seats, so explicit 320/276 counts and the drawing control under AUTHORING §5b. LayoutProvenance is mixed because current RAM applicability/counts are separate from the prior operator's published LOPA. Former WestJet Extended Comfort and exit-row seats retain their physical extra legroom but are not modeled as RAM-branded paid zones. The schematic has no physical window apertures, and this checkout has no 787-9 engineering grid, so windowGridType is omitted and window positions remain unknown.
