Current official Embraer 195-E2 page publishes both original 132-seat and adjusted 136-seat interactive maps; their exact A/C-D/F row grids and seat categories; 136 maximum passengers, 74-76 cm Economy and 84 cm Economy Comfort/Business pitch, 2-2 layout, partial Wi-Fi, USB-A power and two toilets.

The map is JS-rendered; the snapshot is a rendered text/accessibility extract containing every seat label from both maps. The live page still says both maps may apply by flight and also retains the June 2026 target date, so completion of the fleet transition is not inferred.

  • KLM Royal Dutch Airlines NewsroomPRIMARY SOURCERetrieved Jul 18, 2026

Official December 2025 announcement says the first adjusted E195-E2 flew on 6 December 2025, four Economy seats are added by reducing the galley, capacity rises from 132 to 136, comfort is unchanged, and the fleet conversion was targeted for June 2026.

The announcement gives the planned completion month, not confirmation that the final aircraft was converted. KLM's current aircraft page still publishes both original and adjusted maps as flight-specific possibilities.

  • KLM Royal Dutch Airlines NewsroomPRIMARY SOURCERetrieved Jul 18, 2026

Official November 2019 order announcement publishes the original 132-seat E195-E2 capacity and identifies the new seats as Recaro-manufactured.

Order-era product context only; the current row grids and retrofit state come from KLM's current aircraft page and 2025 upgrade announcement. KLM did not publish the Recaro model name.

How this map was built

CURRENT KLM-PUBLISHED ADJUSTED MAP: 34 full 2-2 rows numbered 1-12 and 14-35 total 136 installed seats. Rows 1-5 are labeled Business Class, 6-7 Economy Comfort, 8-10 Front standard, 15-16 extra-legroom exit and the rest Standard. Compared with the 132-seat source map, row 14 becomes Standard, the exit pair shifts to rows 15-16 and new aft row 35 supplies the four added Economy positions. RETROFIT STATE: KLM says the first adjusted aircraft flew 6 December 2025 and all aircraft were targeted for conversion by June 2026; the live page still publishes both maps, so this file remains retrofit_target linked to the original rather than asserting fleetwide completion. FLEXIBLE BUSINESS MODEL: Europe Business is a representative service zone within one physical 2-2 cabin; it has no blocked middle and no permanent J canonicalTier. The eight Economy Comfort and eight source-labeled exit positions resolve to N, producing 16N/120Y. KLM publishes 84 cm pitch for Business/Economy Comfort and a 74-76 cm Economy range, while the upgrade announcement says passenger comfort is unchanged. KLM identifies Recaro as the seat manufacturer but does not publish a hardware model. Exit-door anchors are derived only from explicit exit-row labels; exit grade, other monuments, wing bounds and window alignment are not inferred. The config code is a SeatLink capacity key, not a claimed KLM internal code.
