- 18A — Window-position seat with no window — the air-conditioning riser duct behind the sidewall displaces the cabin window here (jal.co.jp lists this seat as "No window").
- 21A, 21B, 21C, 21H, 21J — Row just ahead of the over-wing exit — the seatback does not recline (jal.co.jp lists this row as non-reclining).

JAL Boeing 737-800 fleet: 62 aircraft, domestic configuration 20 Class J / 145 Economy = 165; to be replaced by 737 MAX 8.

READ FROM the jal.co.jp published V32 seat map (seatmap_v32_en_200520.png) and the configuration page: Domestic V32, 165 seats = 20 Class J (rows 1-4, 2-3 layout, columns A/C on the left and H/J/K on the right — the B middle seat is removed) + 145 Economy (rows 15-39, 3-3). Exit rows 22 and 23 (both over-wing); non-reclining rows 21 and 22 (jal.co.jp); no-window 18A (AC riser duct). The first Economy row (15) sits behind the Class J divider with a forward closet occupying the middle-B position (five seats); the last row (39) has only two seats (39H, 39K) because the rear lavatory and exit take the A/B/C side — this reconciles to 145 Economy (5 + 23x6 + 2). DERIVED: the identity of the single seat removed at row 15 is read as the middle B from the low-resolution map (the two visible left-bank seats are labelled C and A); the exact row grid otherwise comes straight from the published map. UNSOURCED: seat pitch/width are not published for this type (marked unsourced). No in-seat power (jal.co.jp: "Power outlet: Not available"); Wi-Fi available; no seatback IFE.
