Hainan’s live fleet catalog identifies official 787-9 layout 1 as 30 Business / 259 Economy = 289. The official drawing is transcribed row by row: Business is 2-2-2 at rows 11-12 and 15-17 (30); Economy is full 3-3-3 at rows 31-58, side pairs A/C and H/K at row 59, and centre D/E/G at row 60 (259). Door, exit, wing and monument anchors follow the drawing. The official Business product page ties the 289-seat 787-9 to 2-2-2 lie-flat seats at 74-75 in pitch. Window alignment remains unknown because no 787-9 engineering grid exists and the drawing shows no window mullions.
