Qantas mainline 197-seat A321XLR with 20 Business and 177 Economy drawn positions. Native map Group 2: row 35 contains DEF only. The 197-seat Group 2 map is a distinct configuration; the current A321XLR type page names Coral Sea VH-OGG as 197 seats, but this does not certify every tail allocation or conversion. Forward 2 covers rows 8–11 and Forward 3 rows 12–13; these published selection colour categories are not encoded as separate seat types and establish no fee. Rows 15 and 16 are explicitly drawn with exit arrows and Economy Plus Exit colours. New lie-flat Business announced from 2028 is separate from these recliners. Window alignment, exact wing/furniture geometry, engineering installed capacity, hardware identities and inferred restrictions remain unverified. This configuration was added in the 2026-10-01 audit; public map publication is not proof of completed fleet-wide installation.
What changed
- Oct 3, 2026Independent source review of actual corrected-byte findings: corrected source attribution and public wording without changing passenger seat positions, geometry, counts or historical verification date.

- Oct 3, 2026Staged accepted source-backed review corrections and annual report citations (printed p20 fleet; printed p6 Economy Plus rollout); recorded prose spacing edits. - Oct 3, 2026Qualify source-bound drawn positions, exit rows and unmodelled selection categories; clarify first addition in the 2026-10-01 audit and preserve original audit history.
- Oct 1, 2026Rechecked native official variant diagram and specifications; appended scoped evidence and retained unresolved physical/operational limitations.
