  • Loong AirPRIMARY SOURCERetrieved Jul 20, 2026

The airline's retained Super Economy article states that its 174-seat, two-cabin A320 has 18 Super Economy seats; Super Economy spacing can reach 34 inches and ordinary Economy spacing is 30 inches. Current booking copy calls Super Economy a separately sold class and describes it as the first three rows.

The article dates the product upgrade to 2016 and labels the aircraft generically as A320, without distinguishing ceo from neo or publishing seat letters, row numbers, exits or monuments. It is applied only to the 174-seat A320ceo/A320neo configurations independently retained in the current neutral configuration evidence.

    The fleet matrix updated 11 July 2026 reports 1 A319-100, 27 A320-200s, 38 A320neos and 12 A321neos in service, with no current A321ceo fleet.

Search-indexed current fleet result only. Direct retrieval returned a cookie/refresh challenge, so no snapshot is available under the search-snippet exception. The matrix establishes current type totals, not current airframe counts per cabin configuration.

The search-indexed airframe record identifies active Loong Air B-32R5 as an A320neo in Y174 configuration; the record was updated 13 May 2026.

Search-indexed airframe result only. Direct retrieval returned a cookie/refresh challenge, so no snapshot is available under the search-snippet exception. The configuration code establishes class counts, not row numbering, seat letters, hardware, dimensions, exits, monuments or window alignment.

    The November 2025 fleet table identifies the active passenger-count combinations: A319 8/126; A320-200 174; A320neo 174 and 186; and A321neo 16/184 and 8/202.

The table is dated November 2025. It establishes the six configuration totals but its fleet counts predate later A320neo deliveries and conversions; current type totals are taken from the newer Planespotters fleet matrix.

Airbus A320 Aircraft Characteristics covers A320-200 and A320neo and supplies the manufacturer six-abreast passenger-cabin template used for the derived 3-3 grids.

Generic manufacturer planning layouts only; Loong Air row numbering, cabin boundaries, exits, monuments, dimensions and window alignment remain unverified.

How this map was built

Current 174-seat A320neo configuration: the official airline copy publishes a two-cabin A320 with 18 Super Economy and 156 ordinary Economy seats. It labels Super Economy as the first three rows, states spacing can reach 34 inches, and publishes 30 inches for ordinary Economy. The neutral configuration code is Y174 even though Loong Air markets the forward 18 seats as a separately sold Super Economy class. No airline row map was located, so the grid is reconstructed as three full 3-3 Super Economy rows (3 x 6 = 18) followed by 26 full 3-3 Economy rows (26 x 6 = 156). Every cabin and row is marked derived; display row numbers are arithmetic placeholders. The 34-inch figure is retained only in legroomNotes because the source says "can reach" rather than publishing a uniform pitch. Exits, monuments, wing bounds, bassinets, amenities and seat-level drawbacks are omitted. The exact a320neo engineering window grid is bound, but the row grid is derived; window positions remain unknown unless the repository classifier proves a structural blank.
