  • Jetstar AirwaysPRIMARY SOURCERetrieved Jul 17, 2026

    Official fleet page (fleet numbers dated 31 July 2025) publishes JQ's 335-seat original and 325-seat refreshed 787-8 layouts, 232-seat A321neo (LR), 188-seat A320neo, 180-186-seat A320ceo range, and 230-seat A321ceo, with seat dimensions and hardware.

Jetstar's raw HTML endpoint was bot-blocked, so the archived object is a rendered text extract. Fleet counts are not assigned where the page combines configs or includes transferring former 3K aircraft not yet operating.

Official group page identifies Jetstar Airways in Australia and New Zealand as Qantas Group-owned, identifies Jetstar Asia as a separate Singapore carrier, and records that Jetstar Asia ceased operations on 31 July 2025.

The archived object is a rendered text extract because Jetstar blocked raw HTML retrieval.

    Official aircraft-dimensions table publishes A320 17.88-inch width/29-inch pitch, A321 18/28, A321neo LR 18/29, 787 Economy 17/30 and 787 Business recliner 19/38.

The archived object is a rendered text extract because Jetstar blocked raw HTML retrieval. The table does not distinguish original and refreshed 787 widths, so its 787 dimensions are applied as Jetstar's type-level figures.

The FY2026 annual report, published page 20 (PDF page 22), reports the Jetstar Australia and New Zealand fleet at 30 June 2026: 50 A320-200, 6 A321-200, 25 A321LR, 5 A320neo and 11 B787-8 aircraft. Footnote 23 excludes Jetstar Japan and aircraft hired from Jetstar Japan for capacity. These are type totals and do not bind individual cabin variants. The first Jetstar A321XLR delivery is planned for FY2029.

Type totals do not identify180/186 or335/325 cabin allocations, per-tail installation or current day-of-audit fleet. FY2029 plannedXLR timing supersedes the older2027 prediction; neither is evidence of current operation.

Current official catalog publishes the A320 180–186 passenger range, Recaro BL3530 seating, 17.88-inch width and 29-inch average pitch. It does not bind the separate 180- and 186-seat equipment-specific grids; those remain historical booking evidence.

Fleet quantities on this live page are explicitly dated31July2025, include former3K transitioning aircraft not yet operating, and exclude capacity-hire GK aircraft. Published type totals are not numbered-seat evidence.

How this map was built

Historical topology: the July 2026 official booking extract records 186 numbered passenger positions in a single all-Economy cabin for equipment 32T, with relative exit markers. It does not record ExtraLegroom or Upfront row and letter allocations. Unsupported sale zones, seat-type assignments, premium flags and advantage ratings remain withdrawn; neutral standard ratings express no product advantage. The unbound first-row bulkhead attribute is withdrawn. Numbered seats, historical exit-row markers and the last-row endpoint are retained without fresh physical recertification. The current fleet catalog publishes the A320 180–186 passenger range; the exact equipment-specific grid comes from the historical booking extract. The published 29-inch pitch is a type average, not an individual-seat measurement. The FY2026 report lists 50 A320-200 aircraft as a combined type total; no fleet count is assigned to either cabin variant. Fee scope: allSeatsPaidSelection refers to Starter advance selection; bundled fares may include Standard, Upfront or ExtraLegroom selection, and random check-in allocation is free. Current specifications were checked in the 1 October 2026 audit, but numbered topology was not freshly verified. At that audit, the current booking endpoint was inaccessible and the official sales-kit endpoint returned 404. The July 2026 extract remains historical evidence. Individual-tail installation, current quantities for each configuration, physical window alignment, pitch at each seat and complete monument geometry are not established. Exact exit hardware classifications remain outside the preserved extraction.

What changed

  1. Oct 3, 2026Independent final source review: withdrew remaining generic door subtype fields because the historical booking extract supplies relative exit markers without structural door-versus-hatch identification. Marker type, anchors, paired schematic sides and passenger positions are unchanged; no physical hardware certification is asserted.
  2. Oct 3, 2026Independent source review: withdrew unsupported exact exit hardware class fields. Historical exit marker anchors and numbered passenger positions are unchanged; no current hardware or full physical certification is asserted.
  3. Oct 3, 2026Source-backed review: corrected the unrelated 787 qualifier, clarified current catalog and annual-report source scope, and withdrew the unbound first-row bulkhead attribute. Historical numbered seats and the full-configuration verification date are preserved.
  4. Oct 1, 2026Australia/NewZealand primary-source audit: FY2026 group type fleet inventory at30June2026, excludingJapan/capacityhire; Current primary aircraft capacity and carrier scope; Current selection products andStarter-only advance-selection fee scope; Published type-level pitch/width and Recaro seat family. No fresh numbered map: current booking endpoint is inaccessible and official sales-kit endpoint returned404. July2026 numbered booking extract remains historical evidence only. Per-tail installation, current per-configuration fleet quantities, physical windows, pitch per location, and complete monument geometry are not established by current pages. Exact seat-selection row/letter tier locations are absent from archived booking evidence; all unsupported sale zones, ExtraLegroom assignments/flags and good ratings withdrawn. Retained row attributes are historical/inferred, not freshly recertified.
  5. Jul 17, 2026Initial Jetstar Airways Australia/New Zealand full-fleet configuration.
