Dated 3 June 2026 launch release states that Iberia now operates three weekly Madrid-Monterrey flights with an A330-200 configured for 288 passengers in Business and Economy.

Confirms scheduled mainline operation and total capacity, but not the cabin split or row grid.

Official fleet page publishes the A330-200 split as 19 Business / 269 Economy = 288, identifies 12 A330-200 units and links the seat-map section.

Fleet/count page, not a seat-letter key; the seating-plan image controls row occupancy.

Official A330-200 seating-plan image shows staggered Business rows 1-5, Economy rows 21-56 in 2-4-2 with published partial/taper rows, four door pairs, galleys and lavatories.

The live image origin returned Iberia's error page, so raw bytes were recovered from Wayback's 2021-06-01 capture; Iberia's 2026 fleet page still points to the same asset URL. The image prints row numbers but not seat letters or physical window positions.

Current long-haul seat specifications explicitly cover A330-200 Business and Economy: lie-flat Business up to 2 m with 15.4-inch screen, Economy pitch/width/recline ranges, Internet, AC power and USB.

Economy measurements and screen-size range are published across Iberia's long-haul fleet rather than by A330-200 row; no row-level dimension is asserted.

    Current fleet-table cross-check lists 12 Iberia A330-200s, their registrations and the 19 Business / 269 Economy = 288 split.

How this map was built

CURRENT MAINLINE CONFIG. Iberia's 3 June 2026 release states that it now operates the Madrid-Monterrey route three times weekly with a 288-seat A330-200, establishing scheduled mainline service in July 2026. Iberia's fleet page and the current neutral fleet table agree on 19 Business / 269 Economy = 288 and 12 aircraft; no permitted current source supports a separate 18J/270Y configuration. The row grid, cabin order, staggered Business geometry, Economy 2-4-2 blocks, reduced rows and monuments come from Iberia's published A330-200 seating-plan image. Business uses four four-seat staggered rows plus a three-seat row 5 (19). Economy arithmetic read from the map is rows 21-22 outer pairs (8), rows 23-39 full (136), row 40 left pair plus centre four (6), rows 41-51 full (88), rows 52-55 in 2-3-2 (28), and row 56 centre three (3), totaling 269. The diagram does not print seat letters; alternating Business letters and the D/E/G aft centre trio are structural assignments following Iberia's established lettering convention, while the published row occupancy is unchanged. Window alignment remains unknown because the seating diagram does not show belt-line window positions. No A330-200 engineering window grid exists in data/window-grids, so aircraft.windowGridType and wing bounds are omitted. No retrofit link is encoded because the sources prove continued operation, not an active cabin conversion.
