Current Iberia A320neo fleet presence, 15 aircraft across the type, short/medium-haul role, and the published 180-186 seat-capacity range.

The page publishes the range but not the fleet split or row-by-row layout for either endpoint; this instance derives only the minimum grid needed to reconcile its cited total.

A320 Aircraft Characteristics (June 2024) identifies common A320/A320neo fuselage-door and over-wing-exit geometry used by the variant-exact engineering window grid.

Engineering geometry only; it does not publish Iberia's row grid or per-capacity cabin allocation.

How this map was built

CURRENT MAINLINE CAPACITY. Iberia's current A320neo fleet page publishes a 180-186 seat range, establishing distinct 180-seat endpoint capacity without assigning a per-capacity fleet count. No permitted, retrievable current Iberia row map was available for this capacity, so the grid is explicitly DERIVED as 30 full 3-3 rows (30x6=180); row numbers, the final-row location and every seat position are count-reconciliation conventions. No exits, wing limits, monuments, fixed Business boundary, XL/preferred zone, seat dimensions or row-specific drawbacks are asserted. Iberia sells short-haul Business with a flexible partition and an empty adjacent seat, but the current capacity page does not publish a stable Business-row count for either physical configuration; all 180 enumerated positions therefore remain one Turista-hardware cabin and cabinSummary is 180Y rather than a fabricated fixed J/Y split. The config code is a SeatLink capacity key, not a claimed Iberia internal code. aircraft.windowGridType binds the exact A320neo engineering grid; that grid has no structural window blanks, so window seats remain unknown.

What changed

  1. Jul 16, 2026Initial Iberia mainline A320neo 180-seat configuration; current capacity sourced from Iberia and the complete 3-3 grid explicitly derived from the count.
