  • Ethiopian AirlinesPRIMARY SOURCERetrieved Jul 17, 2026

    Current commercial-fleet page lists 20 Boeing 787-8s and 10 Boeing 787-9s; it publishes 24 Cloud Nine / 246 Economy / 270 total for the 787-8 and 30 Cloud Nine / 285 Economy / 315 total for the 787-9.

The page's short tail-number lists are visibly incomplete relative to its fleet totals, so they are not treated as complete applicability lists; the explicit numeric accommodations control over conflicting seat-map landing-page prose.

Official ET-AOO-family 787-8 drawing: four 2-2-2 Cloud Nine rows, two 3-3-3 Economy sections, a center-only aft taper row, and four door pairs with cabin monuments.

The image has no passenger row numbers, seat letters, dimensions or window-position key. Row identifiers, column letters and exact door anchors are derived; the drawing's seats visually reconcile to the fleet page's 24/246 totals.

Current official seat-map catalog entry for the ET-AOO 787-8 family links the cited drawing, lists Audio and Video, and describes current medium- to long-haul use.

Its overview says 30 Cloud Nine / 246 Economy, an impossible 276-seat sum that conflicts with the linked four-row premium drawing and the corporate fleet table's explicit 24/246/270 figures; the fleet table controls.

  • Ethiopian AirlinesPRIMARY SOURCERetrieved Jul 17, 2026

Current official catalog entry says the ET-ASG family shares the same configuration as AOO and is used interchangeably on Ethiopian's long-haul network.

Like the AOO entry, its 30 Business / 246 Economy prose conflicts with its linked four-row 2-2-2 drawing and the corporate fleet table. Its drawing also shifts monuments and initial Economy blocks, so this document is marked representative.

Official alternate ET-ASG-family 787-8 drawing: four 2-2-2 Cloud Nine rows and a 3-3-3 Economy cabin with monument and initial-row placement that differs from the AOO drawing.

The image has no passenger row numbers or seat letters. It is used to document within-accommodation variation, not to assert a second numbered configuration.

  • Ethiopian Airlines MROPRIMARY SOURCERetrieved Jul 17, 2026

Official 2016 release says ten Ethiopian 787-8s entered operation after a Business-seat actuation modification producing an almost-full-flat bed position, with Zodiac Seats UK and Zodiac Seat Actuation involved.

Historical product evidence for the angled-flat category only; it does not identify all current applicable tails, an exact seat model, dimensions or a row map.

How this map was built

Ethiopian's current corporate fleet page publishes 24 Cloud Nine / 246 Economy = 270 seats. The current ET-AOO and ET-ASG seat-map landing pages incorrectly say 30 premium seats, but both linked drawings visibly show four full 2-2-2 Cloud Nine rows (24); under the primary-source tie-break, the explicit 24-seat fleet-table count controls. The AOO-family published drawing supplies the seat-block geometry used here: 4 x 6 Cloud Nine; 17 full 3-3-3 Economy rows forward of Door 3; and 10 full rows plus a center-only three-seat taper row aft (153 + 90 + 3 = 246). Because the drawing prints no passenger row numbers or seat letters, rows 1-4 and 11-38, letters A/C-D/G-H/K and A/B/C-D/E/F-H/J/K, and all door row anchors are DERIVED; cabins, rows and furniture are marked accordingly. The ASG page calls its aircraft family the same configuration as AOO, although its drawing moves monuments and the first Economy blocks; this file is therefore representative rather than a complete per-tail LOPA. Exact window alignment, dimensions, bassinets, limited-recline seats and monument-adjacency ratings are not established and are omitted or left unknown.
