No window at seat 8A — Boeing routes the air-conditioning riser ducts up the left sidewall from the belly A/C packs to the ceiling distribution ducts, forward of the wing. The duct behind the sidewall panel displaces one left-side cabin window. Per Alaska fleet engineering this is standard on all 737 aircraft. Current fleet page publishes one 737 MAX 8 configuration: 16 Business, 24 Economy Extra and 126 other Main Cabin seats = 166, with 38/34/30-31-inch pitch, 21/21/17-inch stated width, 7-8-degree/4-5-inch/3-4-inch recline ranges and emergency rows 17-18.

The stated 21-inch Economy Extra width is physically inconsistent with the same page's six-abreast map and every other Copa Economy Extra table; it is treated as a likely CMS error and deliberately not encoded pending corroboration. Recline ranges are described but only the Business lower bound is encoded because the schema has no range maximum for recline.

Official MAX 8 diagram publishes four 2-2 Business rows, six-abreast Main Cabin rows 5-11 and 17-34, Economy Extra rows 5-8, Convenient rows 9-11 and 17-20, and emergency exits at rows 17-18; the diagram reconciles exactly to 166 seats.

Copa's current seat-selection page describes Economy Extra as offering extra legroom and greater recline, Convenient as offering more legroom plus a forward location and priority deplaning, and Regular as standard-legroom seating; it also states that displayed seat prices are per passenger and flight leg.

This product page is fleet-wide. Exact rows come from each aircraft map, and eligibility can make advance selection free for some passengers even though these are priced seat-selection products.

How this map was built

CURRENT CONFIG: Copa's live fleet page presents one MAX 8 layout and publishes 16 Business / 24 Economy Extra / 126 other Main Cabin = 166. CANONICAL TIERS: Copa describes both Economy Extra and Convenient as more-legroom products, so both map to extra_legroom_economy (N) inside one physical Main Cabin; Regular seats map to Y. PUBLISHED MAP: the linked diagram reconciles exactly, with 2-2 Business rows 1-4 and 3-3 Main Cabin rows 5-11 and 17-34. The fleet page's 21-inch Economy Extra width is not encoded because it conflicts with the six-abreast diagram and the rest of Copa's tables. Exit rows and zone membership are published; exact lavatory/galley adjacency, wing limits, bassinets and restrictions are not asserted. The variant-exact 737 MAX 8 engineering grid is bound; window alignment is left for scripts/window-alignment.js rather than asserted manually.
