China Southern fleet table: Airbus A321neo (94 in service) has two passenger configurations — 4 J / 24 W / 167 Y = 195 and 12 J / 24 W / 164 Y = 200 (W = Premium Economy Class); listed separately from the A321-200 (ceo) which carries 179/189/195-seat layouts.

Official A321(32Q) cabin-layout page: 195 seats — 4 Business (pitch 55 in, width 21 in, recline 6 in) / 24 Premium Economy (33 in / 18.36 in / 5 in) / 167 Economy (29/44 in / 18.36 in / 4 in). Note: on international routes Premium Economy Class is referred to as Economy Class. Seat map is a reference image only.

Airbus cabin-layout index listing the A321 layouts currently published: A321-200(32Z), A321(321), A321(32L), A321(32Q), A321(32R), A321(32Y). Used to separate the A321-200 (ceo) page from the plain-A321 pages.

Official A321-200(32Z) cabin-layout page (the ceo): 195 seats — 4 Business / 24 Premium Economy / 167 Economy, with a narrower 17.3-inch economy seat width. Cited only to distinguish the A321-200 (ceo) 195 config from this A321neo (32Q) 195 config, which shares the same split but uses an 18.36-inch economy seat.
Retrieved via Wayback (20240528 raw-bytes). Represents the A321-200 (ceo), which is OUT of scope; included only as scoping evidence.

China Southern A321neo 195-seat configuration, csair fleet/config code 32Q. PER-CABIN COUNTS AND DIMENSIONS ARE PUBLISHED/PRIMARY: China Southern's official cabin-layout page for A321(32Q) (csair.com, retrieved via the Wayback 2024-05-28 snapshot) lists 4 Business (55" pitch, 21" width, 6" recline) / 24 Premium Economy (33"/18.36"/5") / 167 Economy (29" standard, 44" extra-legroom rows / 18.36" / 4"), total 195. NOTE: China Southern markets the Premium Economy (W) cabin as 'Economy Class' on international routes (per the source page); it is modelled here as premium_economy by canonical tier, consistent with cz-789-276. NEO vs CEO: the Wikipedia China Southern fleet table (neutral backbone) lists the A321neo with exactly TWO configs — 4J/24W/167Y=195 and 12J/24W/164Y=200 — and this 195-seat split matches the csair page labelled plainly 'A321(32Q)' (18.36" economy width). It is DISTINCT from the ceo config csair labels 'A321-200(32Z)', which shares the same 4/24/167=195 split but uses a narrower 17.3" economy seat; the ceo is out of scope. THE ASSIGNMENT HINT (1 config) IS SUPERSEDED: two distinct A321neo configs are published (this 195-seater and cz-321n-200). csair also publishes an 'A321(32Y)' 208-seat page (8J/24W/176Y) that appears in NEITHER the Wikipedia A321-200 nor A321neo rows; it is excluded from scope for lack of neutral neo/ceo corroboration. LAYOUT DERIVED_FROM_COUNTS: the csair seat map is a reference image only, so the row grid, door/exit positions, over-wing exit band and the two monument-tapered partial rows are structural reconstructions from the published counts + abreast layouts and the A321neo Airbus Cabin Flex (ACF) door/wing geometry (data/window-grids/a321neo.json); every cabin carries derived:true. DERIVATIONS: Business 2-2 row 1 (4); Premium Economy 3-3 rows 2-5 (24); Economy 3-3 rows 6-33 — forward-right galley/closet tapers row 6 to a 5-seat bulkhead partial (162 in the 27 full rows 7-33) to reach 167; two ACF Type III+ overwing exit pairs projected at rows 14 (forward, non-reclining) and 15 (aft, full recline) with row 13 just ahead (limited recline). Doors (1 fwd, 2 overwing, 4 aft), galleys and lavatories are derived. windowAlignment left 'unknown' on all window seats (derived grid; Airbus has no published windowless seat on this type — window-alignment.js reports no high-confidence structural blanks for A321neo). China Southern operates 94 A321neo aircraft (Wikipedia); the per-config airframe split is not published. Exact row numbers, numbering gaps, monument positions and overwing-exit rows may differ from China Southern's actual map.
What changed
- Jul 14, 2026Initial creation of China Southern A321neo config 32Q (195 seats: 4J/24W/167Y) from the csair.com official cabin-layout page (per-cabin counts + pitch/width/recline) with the Wikipedia CZ fleet table as the neutral backbone. Premium Economy modeled as a separate cabin (canonical tier premium_economy); row grid, doors, overwing exits and monument-tapered partial rows derived from the published counts and A321neo Airbus Cabin Flex geometry.
