How this map was built

CURRENT CONFIG SET: Air Niugini's May-July 2026 fleet table publishes four DHC8-Q400s with 76 total seats, and the current schedule includes DH4 operating equipment. PUBLISHED/DERIVED GRID: the Q400 image linked from the current airline seating page depicts 19 2-2 row positions but labels the older drawing 74 passengers because row 1 has only one pair. The current page describes standard 2-2 Dash 8 seating; the newer explicit 76-seat count reconciles exactly to 19 full four-seat rows, so SeatLink fills the earlier missing pair and marks the cabin and every row derived. The labels are also derived as rows 1-19 with conventional A/C-D/F letters; provenance is mixed because the longitudinal positions are published but the current 76-seat fill is reconstructed. The 76Y code is a capacity discriminator, not a claimed Air Niugini internal code. No monuments, exits, wing bounds, dimensions, hardware, window alignments, or seat-specific quality claims are inferred.
