Air Canada Boeing 787-9 in its current, sole in-service cabin: 30 Signature Class (business) / 21 Premium Economy / 247 Economy = 298. Per-cabin counts and fleet size (32 aircraft) are from the Wikipedia Air Canada fleet table; cabin products, amenities and the lie-flat Signature Class ("Executive Pods") are from Air Canada's own 787 Dreamliner page. IMPORTANT — the ROW GRID IS DERIVED, not a placard scan: aircanada.com's fleet and seat-map pages are JavaScript-rendered (static fetch returns no seat data) and competitor seat-map sites are prohibited. Class layouts (Signature reverse-herringbone 1-2-1, Premium Economy 2-3-2, Economy 3-3-3) are the standard Air Canada 787-9 products; row numbers, exit-row placement (Door 3, over-wing), the over-wing band, furniture and the two derived partial economy rows were constructed to reproduce the published per-cabin totals and abreast layouts and may differ from the actual airframe. DERIVATIONS: Signature 30 = row 1 (two window singles, 1A/1K bulkhead behind the forward galley) + rows 2-8 (7x4 = 28), row 8 being the last row beside the mid-cabin galley. Premium Economy 21 = rows 11-13 (3x7), row 11 the bulkhead behind Door 2 with centre bassinet. Economy 247 = rows 14-41 (28 rows): 26 full 3-3-3 rows (234) + row 24 reduced to 6 (right triple H/J/K displaced by the Door 3 galley/lavatory complex) + row 41 tail taper reduced to 7 (window seats A/K dropped) = 247; row 14 is the economy bulkhead (extra legroom) and row 25 is the over-wing exit row (extra legroom). Air Canada Preferred seats (a paid forward-cabin/exit-row location tier within Economy) are not modelled per-seat because Air Canada does not publish the row assignment. NO pitch/width/recline or screen sizes are published for these cabins — all seat-type dimensions are flagged unsourced and screen sizes are omitted. windowAlignment is left "unknown" for window seats (a derived grid cannot prove window-to-seat alignment). RETROFIT OUTLOOK (context, not modelled): Air Canada plans to refit its 777/787 widebodies with new Signature Plus Suites, but has stated existing 787-9s will not be retrofitted until 2029 (the new suites debut first on the incoming 787-10), so no successor config flies yet.
